Meet the Founder: Peter C. Johnson, Jr.
Over 50 years in tile. Zero plans of slowing down.
Peter C. Johnson, Jr. started swinging a trowel at age 15 in his family’s Summit Brick Works. After cutting his teeth in tile factories across Italy and Spain, he returned stateside, attended Bowling Green University, and rose to Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Summitville Tiles.
After successfully selling Summitville, Pete couldn’t stay away — so he founded Architectural Ceramic Products (AcpTile) right here in Boardman, continuing a legacy of quality, integrity, and a borderline-unhealthy obsession with perfectly spaced grout lines.
